La Cala Golf Club/South Course
- The three courses at La Cala, North
(Par 73), South (Par 72) and the new Europa (Par 71) have
been designed by North American architect Cabell B. Robinson.
In a difficult and winding area, as Robinson says, "the
terrain for the La Cala course made it my most challenging
course construction project". Ideal complements are the
clubhouse with its bar and pro shop, and the prestigious
David Leadbetter Golf Academy, with a large driving range,
surrounded by a Par 3 course.
The South Course is also spectacular. The 1st, 9th,
10th, and 18th are all located beside the Clubhouse. The
5th and 12th are two interesting holes with water hazards.
The 11th is a very picturesque par 3 and watch where you
hit the ball on the 9th or you might end up in trouble.
